Burabike 2018 bike ride
The goal of the bike ride, which is held in the picturesque regions of the Akmola region since 2013, is to raise money for the purchase of equipment and rehabilitation simulators for the hospitals of the Republic. The necessary amounts are raised at the expense of personal contributions from participants and corporate donations of benefactors. The bike ride allowed for the provision of important equipment for hospitals and maternity clinics in Almaty, Akmola and other oblasts of the country.
In memory of BatyrkhanShukenov
Utemuratov’s foundation takes an active part in the cultural life of Kazakhstan. It has been not so long since it allocated 70 million tenge to the foundation of BatyrkhanShukenov. It is expected that a contest of young performers playing the wooden wind instruments with the participation of the National Conservatory of Kazakhstan will be held with these funds. In addition, the best students of the Conservatory will be able to count on a personal scholarship from the Utemuratov’s foundation.
Funds for the Red Crescent Humanitarian Society
About $300 thousand was transferred to the Red Crescent Society. Almost the entire tranche was spent to help the people in need, administrative expenses amounted to only 10%. Thanks to this, in the spring of 2018, assistance was provided to residents of East Kazakhstan, who had lost their houses as a result of floods. All victims (about a thousand families) were issued ForteBank credit cards with the funds of the BulatUtemuratov Foundation.
Providing assistance to small Kazakhstani people with disabilities
A few months ago the foundation signed an agreement on cooperation with the Association of Parents of Disabled Children “APDC”. More than 300 million tenge was allocated to create an intensive rehabilitation and early intervention center for patients with cerebral palsy. In addition, it was decided to open a training institution for the training of experts in the field of recovery of such patients.
